Abstract

Nowadays criminal activities are on the increase in our country and some of them are unnoticed or not reported. Due to improper investigation or some external pressure the authorities are refraining from investigating the case genuinely. Also, there is an increasing tendency to carry out malpractices in FIR, NCR report; that could eventually derail the administration of justice system. Because of the above- mentioned discrepancies of the existing system, the case will not proceed and the complainant will not get justice. The system which existed is centralized and not working to its full potential.

Our idea is to design and implement a complaint portal system based on web3 technology. This system provides a secure and transparent platform for managing police complaint in which multiple actors such as users, police stations, superiors, judiciary and lawyers have their respective roles. The proposed system offers a significant improvement over the existing complaint management systems, which are often plagued by inefficiencies, lack of transparency, and corrupt practices. In conclusion, the Complaint Portal system presents a promising solution to the challenges of managing police complaints in a fair, efficient and transparent manner.
