Abstract


Outpatient Department (OPD) appointment management is a vital component of healthcare systems designed to streamline and optimize the scheduling and coordination of patient appointments with healthcare providers. Leveraging technology and data driven solutions, OPD appointment management aims to enhance the patient experience, reduce waiting times, and improve the efficiency of healthcare facilities. This system encompasses features such as appointment scheduling, queue management, integration with Electronic Health Records (EHR), and online appointment booking, providing patients with convenient access to healthcare services. By automating administrative tasks and facilitating access to patient information, OPD appointment management contributes to the overall improvement of patient care and operational efficiency in healthcare institutions.
