LOLbot: Machine Musicianship in PC Outfits

Abstract

This paper depicts a new expansion to LOLC, a text-based climate for cooperative ad lib for PC gatherings, integrating a machine performer that cooperates with human entertainers. The machine artist LOLbot examinations the examples made by human entertainers and the composite music they make as they are layered in execution. In view of client determined settings, LOLbot picks fitting examples to play with the gathering, either to add difference to the current exhibition or to be lucid with the musical design of the presentation. The paper depicts the foundation and inspirations of the task, frames the plan of the first LOLC climate and portrays the engineering and execution of LOLbot.
