

Design and development of a Dual-Purpose Flamethrower and Extinguisher Robot
Abstract
The design and development of a Dual-Purpose Flamethrower and Extinguisher Robot aim to create an efficient, remote-controlled robotic solution for managing fire and vegetation in various environments. Combining the functionalities of a flamethrower and a fire extinguisher, this robot offers a unique approach to firefighting and agricultural practices by allowing operators to perform controlled burns and quickly extinguish fires from a safe distance. The robot is equipped with a flamethrower powered by petrol and a water-based extinguisher, both controlled through an RF remote system. Its robust design includes a flame-resistant steel body, durable metal wheels, and separate tanks for fuel and water. The system is powered by an Atmega microcontroller that ensures precise control over its operations. This dual-purpose robot is designed to aid firefighters in preventing wildfires and assist farmers in vegetation management, thus improving safety and operational efficiency. The versatility of this robot makes it suitable for rural, forested, and agricultural areas, where fire management is crucial for ecological preservation and agricultural productivity.
