Design and Development of a Hybrid Intrusion Detection and Prevention System for Cloud Computing and Internet of Things Environment

Abstract


Now a day the internet users are rapidly increased day by day. As technology advances, people are depending more and more on internet-connected smart devices and these kinds of services to store their data and information on the cloud. Data security for both the IoT environment and cloud platform has become crucial. It consists of interconnected smart devices that send, store, and gather data from their environment using embedded technology. Sensors, processors, and communication devices are all part of embedded technology, but it also has some security issues with the information that is held there. According to the scenario, we decided that we design and develop a system that will help to secure our data and enhance security and resolve these issues. The authors' proposed system design and development provides data privacy, authenticity, and integrity for information held in cloud and IoT environments.
