Automated Precautions for Fugitive Emission

Abstract


Automated security systems are an integrated part of smart homes. LPG is one of the popular fields used in domestic cooking. A prototype model of an automatic LPG safety system for household leakages of gas has been built. In the event of a gas leak, the engineering system initiates preventive steps. It includes a newly designed automatic regulator shutoff, a control circuit for switching off the power supply of the home, sending notification to the corresponding people and automatic opening of the window. It is programmed to start working automatically when the LPG concentration exceeds 500 PPM. The MQ5 gas sensor detects the LPG concentration and sends the information to the system.
