ANOVA Analysis Part One of Challenges in SME’S in Bengaluru

Abstract


The software market is becoming more dynamic which can be seen in frequently changing customer needs. Software companies need to be able to quickly respond to these changes. This means that they have to become agile with the objective of developing features with very short lead-time and of high quality. A consequence of this challenge is the appearance of agile and lean software development. Lean software development aims at systematically identifying waste to focus all resources on value adding activities. Lean software development is the application of the principles of the Toyota product development system to software development. Toyota has been extremely successful developing complex new vehicles, which includes a vast amount of embedded software, in a very short time and always on time. When correctly applied, lean software development results in high quality software that is developed quickly and at the lowest possible cost.

Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) is a technique to identify and prioritize potential failures of a process, to reduce or eliminate defects. The main aim is to carry out a Survey with a Questionnaire targeting Small & Medium level software firms in Bengaluru, Understanding the present scenario in these SME’S
