IoE based Smart Waste Monitoring System

Abstract


Managing the waste is a very big issue that the world is facing today. The main problem for managing the waste is that the waste bins in localities and at places gets overfilled well before time which is a lot earlier from when the next cleaning cycle begins. Thus, this results to a lot of problems for the citizens living in those localities. The problems include spread of toxins in the environment, spread of diseases & dirty odours and making the environment look dirty. To prevent all such problems from arising, our proposed system i.e. IoE Based Smart Waste Monitoring System can be used. The goal of our system is to build an intelligent waste monitoring system for a managing the waste properly. Our project is proposing an intelligent waste monitoring device that will help in the clearing of garbage by sending an alert or notification to the user’s email for immediate disposal of the waste based on the levels of waste filled in the bin.
