Abstract

ODTP is an object detection system that uses Microwaves. Microwaves are radio waves which uses soundwaves to determine the Distance as well as Speed of the object. In this project, we can also predict the time of approach of the moving object. This project mainly focuses on making a Radar System that is cheaper and more efficient.

In this paper, we designed a radar combined with an object detection system using 4 Ultrasonic sensors, Arduino UNO R3, Breadboard, Jumper wires, LEDs, Resistors and for displaying the output we have used an OLED display. The model detects any object be it still or moving within its range and then displays its distance, and velocity along with the direction in which the object is located. This is a portable model which can be further modified and can be used in various fields including Defence, Air and Ground Traffic Control, Space, Remote, Sensing and Marine Radars.
