Digestion of Slurry in Distillery Plant: A Case Study

Abstract


Digestion of the slurry in the distillery plant is depends on the digester efficiency. The efficiency depends on feed of the raw material (slurry or molasses), temperature, the agent used for smoothing of the process and circulation of the molasses. On which this paper introduced to process of the digestion in the digester. Though which the phases slurry passes and produced the carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S).
