A Review on Oscillating Paddle Bicycle

Vipin Kumar

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to represent a feasible study of a new drive mechanism for a conventional bicycle. The conventional bicycles have less efficiency and require more effort to run the bicycle at required speed. To improve the conventional drive mechanism two additional driver gears and two additional free wheel drives are used to increase the velocity ratio. In this drive system the location of the driver gear and length of the paddle is changed to reduce the cycling effort and to provide comfortable ride for a rider.
