Abstract

Now a days the corrosion , rusting is common unwanted thing is occurance in most of the ferrous materials. because of oxidation and reduction of materials reactive nature. this paper will give solution to thus problems of phenomenon of corrosion. in manufacturing materials as in case of fabrication as welding , using noble gases avoids rusting or corrosion. further in coating expensive materials as noble metals applying on metals prevents oxidation and reduction reactions. the protective layer is very small. Noble metals are any of a number of metallic chemical elements that exhibit exceptional resistance to oxidation, even at high temperatures. . Every atom aspires to stability, and in order to accomplish so, it may lose, gain, or share electrons. Argon is utilised in light bulbs because it is inert to the hot metal filament; in air or even pure nitrogen, the filament would burn out much more quickly. the argon is widely applicable as noble gas in arc welding as formation of protective layer to prevent oxidation as barrier to rust , corrosion. oxidation is the gain of oxygen or the loss of electrons or hydrogen. When an atom or molecule loses one or more electrons, an oxidation reaction takes place.
