Abstract

This paper provides a comprehensive review of recent advancements in next-generation refrigerants, addressing the environmental concerns associated with traditional refrigerants. We examine the characteristics of ideal next-generation refrigerants and discuss the types, research methodologies, environmental and energy performance, applications, challenges, and future directions.
