Sheet Metal Rack Design and Development Using Static, Modal, and Seismic Analysis
Abstract
This study investigates the design of a sheet metal rack subjected to static, dynamic, and seismic loads. Finite element analysis (FEA) is employed to validate the design by estimating stresses, deformations, and safety factors under different load conditions. The design incorporates material selection, geometric considerations, and boundary conditions to ensure safety and performance. The results demonstrate that the rack design, under the applied loads, meets required safety standards, with an appropriate factor of safety and minimal deformation.
