SHP POTENTIAL COST ANALYSIS IN MAHARASHTRA

Abstract

Even though the North East states of India have a lot of promise for small hydropower, Maharashtra State still has a lot of potential for renewable energy, especially SHP. Renewable energy sources include biomass, solar, and wind. Fossil fuels are extremely scarce and are expected to run out in the future. Consequently, using renewable resources to generate electricity is necessary. One of the choices under renewable resources is small hydro. The connected agencies always conducted a thorough investigation of these possible locations. For this research, the Maharashtra State data is taken into consideration and analyzed.
