To Develop and Evaluate the Effect of Ventilator Associated Pneumonia (VAP) Prevention Protocol for Nurses Working in Intensive Care Units in Multi Speciality Hospitals, of Rajasthan

Abstract


Pneumonia is inflammation and fluid in your lungs caused by a bacterial, viral or fungal infection. It builds it difficult to breathe and can cause a fever and cough with yellow, green or bloody mucus. The flu, COVID-19 and pneumococcal disease are common causes of pneumonia. Treatment depends on the cause and severity of pneumonia. Pneumonia can range in seriousness from light to life-threatening. It is most serious for infants and young children, people older than age 65, and people with health problems or weakened immune systems.
