FOUNDATIONS OF HONOUR: INTEGRITY IN ARCHITECTURE

Abstract


Integrity in architecture refers to an encompassing process that encompasses ethical design, truthful utilization of material, and stringent methods of construction. It is by accepting these beliefs that architects can create buildings that are long-lasting, worthwhile, and both consistent with societal and ecological requirements. Architectural integrity, when contrasted with human morals, focuses on honesty, continuity, and ethical accountability in every part of life and design. Hence, Human Values in the domain of life is cultivating relationships with love and pleasant tone and metaphorically, in the domain of architecture, stands for the tone and values practiced while building structures, for instance, using quality material, honesty of practice, etc.
