Exploring Pharmacological Interventions for Patellar Tendon Disorder
Abstract
Patellar tension disorders namely tendinopathy and tendinitis can influence an individuals mobility as well as quality of life in a significant manner, Non steroidal anti _ inflammatory drugs ( NSAID s) are helpful in treating Patellar vending disorders. NSAIDs, namely ibuprofen and naproxen, perform by stopping the production of prostaglandin, which are inflammatory mediators. By decreasing inflammation. NSAIDs relieve pain and swelling associated with Patellar tendon disorders, Topical NSAIDs in the form of gels, creams or patches can be applied to the affected area. Corticosteroids can be injected into the affected area around the Patellar Rendon. Thus localized admi.
