Introduction of the Constructed Theory of Forensic Nursing Care- Evolution of Forensic Nursing

Firoz Mansuri

Abstract

The integrated practise model for forensic nursing science, a conceptual framework, served as the foundation for the built theory of forensic nursing care, a mid-range nursing theory. Following a critique of the conceptual framework and using both inductive and deductive reasoning, the theory evolved. In order to comprehend the significance of this newly emerging forensic nursing middle-range theory, a review of the development of nursing theory and the value of middle-range theories is provided. The integration of three nursing theories, two healthcare models, and one social theory strengthens the philosophical and theoretical underpinnings of forensic nursing. There are connections drawn between theory elements and the condition of forensic nursing today. Concepts and assumptions are defined in detail.
