COMPREHENSIVE SAFETY SOLUTIONS: IOT-BASED SURVEILLANCE FOR INDUSTRIAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL SECURITY
Abstract
Ensuring safety and security within industrial settings is critical, requiring the adoption of cutting-edge technologies to detect and mitigate potential hazards effectively. This paper introduces an advanced IoT-enabled industrial surveillance robot designed to improve safety standards by identifying risks such as gas leaks, fire outbreaks, and unauthorized access. The system utilizes the Arduino ESP32 development board, integrated with a camera module, allowing for real-time monitoring and the capture of visual data for further analysis. In addition to visual surveillance, the robot incorporates a comprehensive sensor suite, including gas detectors, fire sensors, and motion sensors, providing a versatile solution capable of operating in various industrial environments. The real-time communication system ensures immediate transmission of critical information to human operators, enabling swift decision-making and timely intervention. Furthermore, the robot is powered by solar energy, promoting sustainability by reducing reliance on conventional power sources. This environmentally friendly approach aligns with the growing trend of incorporating green technologies into industrial applications. In summary, the proposed IoT-based surveillance robot represents a significant innovation in industrial safety, offering an intelligent and responsive solution to modern hazard management challenges.
