Phytochemical Analysis of Melia azedarach Linn
Abstract
The present study was aimed to bring out the comprehensive phytochemical analysis of the leaves of Melia azederach L. Qualitative phytochemical screening of the binary compound and ethanolic extracts of the leaves disclosed the presence of the many parts like alkaloids, carbohydrates, flavanoids, reducing sugars. GC-MS analysis was also carried out to detect the phyto constituents present in the ethanolic extract of the leaves Melia azedarach L.
