Abstract

Renewable energy is becoming the promising source for development of energy. Among it sun considered to be the source which is having the maximum potential. Here we considered the same and utilised the potential of solar energy to be concentrated on a parabolic solar trough and the thermal energy focussed over here is utilised for generating the heat required. Hence at various times of the day as per the concentration of solar radiation the generator temperature is noted and the performance of the refrigerator is found. The most energy consuming devices in a household and commercial applications are the refrigerators and air conditioners. For these high-energy consuming devices, this work offers a solution. We hope to take a small step in this direction for future growth and the creation of new developments in this respect.
