Composite Membranes for Gas Separation
Abstract
Composite membranes for gas separation play a crucial role in various industrial processes, including but not limited to natural gas purification, hydrogen recovery, and carbon capture. This paper reviews recent advancements in the development and application of composite membranes, focusing on enhancing gas separation performance. Key components of these membranes include polymers, inorganic fillers, and additives, each contributing to improved selectivity, permeability, and stability. The integration of advanced materials and innovative fabrication techniques has led to the creation of membranes with enhanced gas separation properties.
