For SUPRA SAE: A Review

Abstract

This document presents an in-depth literature review on the design and evaluation of a roll cage structure for the Supra SAE. The Formula SUPRA (SAE) competitions provide a demanding setting where engineering students can hone and enhance various engineering competencies. This experience promotes a practical and application-focused approach to real-world engineering. This paper focuses on the comprehensive design process of the SAE vehicle's roll cage from beginning to end, along with the Finite Element Analysis (both static and dynamic) conducted in previous studies. A 3D CAD model of the roll cage will be created using SolidWorks software, and the FEA analysis will be performed using Nastran.
