A Crucial Zika Virus Parameter

Raman .

Abstract

Despite having structural similarities to other flaviviruses (such as dengue), early studies showed that ZIKV's distinct characteristics are crucial to comprehending its receptor specificity, transmission, and antigenicity. A single-stranded RNA virus, the Zika virus is a member of the Flavivirus genus and family. Most people have moderate Zika virus infections that go away on their own. This exercise highlights the need of the interprofessional team, particularly in recognizing and treating Zika virus infections, and outlines how to evaluate and treat the virus.
