Automated Attendance System Using Rfid Card Detection and Uniform Recognition
Abstract
This paper presents a project titled An Automated Attendance System Using RFID Card Detection And Uniform Recognition. Attendance management is an important task in educational institutions and organizations. Traditional attendance systems are manual, time- consuming, and prone to errors such as proxy attendance and incorrect data entry. To overcome these problems, an automatic attendance system using RFID technology and uniform detection is proposed. In this system, each student is provided with a unique RFID card, which is scanned using an RFID reader to mark attendance automatically. To prevent misuse of RFID cards and proxy attendance, uniform detection using image processing is integrated into the system. The system verifies whether the person present is wearing the proper uniform before confirming attendance. This combination improves security, accuracy, and reliability. The proposed system reduces manual work, saves time, and provides an efficient solution for attendance management in educational institutions. In many school and colleges, attendance is still taken manually, which takes many time and sometimes leads to errors or proxy attendance.so that this system is very useful.
