Abstract

Over the years many researches have been made    in automobile sector to substitute the conventional fuel such as petrol, diesel and bio gases by non-conventional energy sources such as electricity, solar energy, fuel cells, pressurized air etc. Certain industries have worked in developing 2-strokepneumatic (i.e. Pressurized air operated) engine for four wheelers but no such concrete researches have been made for small capacitated two wheelers. The present paper focused on review of design   and structure of two stroke engine. This review mainly focused on the design improvement for engine temperature control, and improvement in efficiently by several modification in structure. Several Modifications followed by structural analysis based on air pressure cycle, stress analysis, thermal conditions, spark-plug elimination, valve positioning can be helpful for future research.
