Modelling and Manufacturing of Beam Engine Using CNC Machine

Abstract

This paper presents about the modelling and manufacturing of beam engine in CNC machine. The design focuses on achieving high precision and accuracy, while minimizing vibration and noise. In recent years, it is required to operate machines at varying speed and load. CNC machines are mostly employed in the industries to perform the required operations based on the custom specifications, so in this work we have modelled and manufactured a beam engine. The model was developed on solid edge software, manufacturing process codes were generated by NX-CAM software and manufacturing was done on the SINUMERIK 828D CNC machine.
