Abstract

In this paper we describe the design and fabrication of farmer’s bike-power tiller that can be easily operated by a single person. This is a useful tool for gardening or farming. The project involves installing a tiller attachment at the rear end of the bike, connecting it to the rear wheel sprocket via a chain drive and sprockets, and attaching tiller blades to the shaft. The project requires basic mechanical skills and tools, including welding, screws, bolts, and nuts. The end result is a functional power tiller that repurposes an old bike and can be used for various agricultural tasks. This project is a great way to combine DIY skills with sustainability and practicality. In this paper we describe the design and fabrication of a bike-powered tiller that can be easily operated by a single person.
