Abstract

Food is a fundamental human need. It is the means by which man is fed and able to do the things he does every day. The requirement for nourishment for the upkeep of man has set farming in charge of man's undertakings on the planet. With a quickly expanding populace on the planet, man has created fresher and imaginative ways of developing harvests. Accepting Nigeria as a contextual investigation, the expanded urbanization has put a monstrous expectation ashore, energy and water assets inside metropolitan region of the country. Greater part of the food devoured in the metropolitan regions is developed in the rustic regions. However, this system necessitates longer transportation times between rural and urban areas, which frequently results in contamination and spoilage. This exploration paper gives an answer in which food yields can be developed effectively in metropolitan regions by establishing in upward stacked layers to save space and utilize negligible energy and water for water system
