Abstract

The overview of Android Filesharing application which is based on "WIFI-DIRECT based Ad Hoc NETWORK Technology". Wi-Fi Direct is new technology by using that we can share file at highspeed. The maximum speed of Wi-Fi direct is 250 Mega Byte Per Second which is sufficient to share large files with short time. Traditionally we are using ad hoc network to share files between device to device but the main problem of this network is speed. Wi-Fi Direct network have two limitations. It does not support communication between two devices and another one limitation is it does not support multi hop communication. Hop is nothing but the number of different networks a packet has to go through in order to reach the destination. While transferring data and other related challenges. This paper describes the overview of wi-fi direct based mobile adhoc network to share file one device to another device. Advantage of this network is this support multi hop and also it has high speed for file sharing as compare normal Mobile Ad Hoc Network.
