Abstract

Robots have the potential to aid in various tasks during the COVID-19 pandemic, such as spraying, cleaning, detecting temperature, delivering goods, and medical supplies. Different robots are necessary to perform various functions in quarantine areas. Utilizing decentralized management and multi-robot systems can reduce human interaction, aid in monitoring, and enhance the delivery of goods. By integrating blockchain technology with multi-robot collaboration, we can overcome the challenges posed by COVID-19. This proposed framework can improve the intelligence, decentralization, and autonomy of connected robots in a blockchain network. The benefits of blockchain are explored in terms of developing a framework for multi- robot collaboration in the fight against COVID-19, including monitoring systems and end-to-end delivery in both outdoor and hospital environments. The challenges and opportunities of combining multi-robot collaboration and the Internet of Things for combating COVID-19 and future pandemics are also discussed.
