LOAD FREQUENCY CONTROL IN MULTI-AREA OF POWER SYSTEM NEWTWORK USING DIFFERENT CONTROLLERS

Arun Kumar Maurya

Abstract

The electric grid that exists now is the most intricate control system ever built by humans. Under normal conditions, it becomes crucial for Automatic Generation Control (AGC) to maintain the frequency within a controllable range and respond appropriately to load variations in the power system. Load frequency control (LFC) is essential for better load control that doesn't negatively impact tie-line power or system frequency variation when there is a disturbance or variation in the load. A number of control approaches or tactics that are based on resilience, self-tuning, soft computing controllers, and traditional strategies are looked at.
