Smart Grid Meter with ZigBee WSN

Navnethaa B.

Abstract

Modern equipment is in high demand as a result of anthropological advancements of recent times. All over the world, a lot of research was done on how to put new inventions into products and applications that actually work. In these explores an endeavor is made to imagine the execution of brilliant network meter to control power stream in electronic apparatuses. Ongoing day power floods and vacillations encourage interest for the execution of more brilliant apparatuses and innovation into domestic devices. ZigBee convention was not new, yet was amazing asset, in this work it is utilized pair with Remote Sensor Organization (WSN) to control power meter. The ZigBee protocol was used to modify the smart grid and add fire and gas leakage sensors in accordance with WSN. Normally, smart grid meters allow communication in both directions between devices and customers. This makes it possible for the instrument to use it more than usual and improves its efficiency.
