Smart, pre-paid energy meter monitoring system based on communication and the Global System for Mobile (GSM)

Rishabh Kushal

Abstract

The expansion in the utilization of power both locally and mechanically has required checking to comprehend energy utilization designs and lessen wastages. Additionally, data and reports can be exchanged easily thanks to mobile technology's extensive capabilities. With the assistance of GSM-Module and an Arduino microcontroller, this study presents a prepaid energy meter observing framework that empowers continuous far off utility-shopper checking of homegrown energy use. Additionally, this system prevents meter tampering and encourages the customer to conserve energy. Utility companies recommend this system for policy considerations because its implementation may increase operational efficiencies.
