Secure Efficient Non-Base-Station based Wireless Communication in MANET using On Demand Routing

Abstract


There is significant network congestion as a result of the frequent discovery. In order to prevent this, multipath routing protocols are designed to find several paths to the destination and switch to a backup secondary path in case the primary route is broken. This provides improved routing security and performance. Secure Dynamic Source Routing (SDSR) and Dynamic Source Routing (DSR), two reactive routing protocols for MANETs, as well as the on-demand gateway discovery protocol, which connects a mobile MANET device to the gateway, are the subjects of this created research paper's attempt to assess their performance. Through the use of trust-based routing and the Intrusion Detection System (IDS), SDSR analyzes performance outcomes by adjusting simulation time. Additionally, a number of crucial performance indicators, including packet delivery ratio, end-to-end delay, and average energy, are used to compare all of the aforementioned protocols.
