Abstract

The demand for electricity has grown dramatically over the past few decades, which has a direct impact on national economies. There are load shedding problems in developing nations. There are fewer and fewer natural methods of generating electricity. Natural resources are required in order to generate and meet the demands for electricity. Nowadays, a lot of people utilize solar panels to generate electricity from sunshine. However, the primary challenge in putting solar panels into practice is that they must be able to fit in areas where the sun shines directly on them. The world is becoming more automated, and there are many sensors available to detect and automate everyday tasks. Piezoelectric sensors are a unique kind of sensor that generates energy in response to load, pressure, or force. Key elements of automation and a primary focus of research are smart cities and societies. An integral component of smart streets is street lighting. Utilizing the electricity generated by piezoelectric sensors, we have put up an Internet of Things-based plan for automating street lights. It will alleviate the need for conventional electricity, which will reduce load shedding.
