An Effective approach to handle Smart Visitor Management Process in Cloud Computing [VHIVE]

Abstract


A smart visitor management system replaces the traditional paper-based record by introducing the centralized digital ledger maintained in databases. It enables the institution or company to organize the guests, visitors and own employees under the same roof. Digital check-in helps the front desk to improvise the visitor's gestures, history and security features. This application mainly focuses on tracking and monitoring the guest and employee check-in and check-out and also provides the metadata for entry-level access information, the purpose of visits and finding the frequencies of various interactions. The model improvises guest detail maintenance for a better networking option. Advanced invitees to the guest before they visit the institution will be identified. Through this system, the higher authorities will get SMS alerts and notifications, from the people who want to visit them. The proposed approach needs to be implemented in the institutional network with all access privileges and it’s tested. Nowadays most universities follow the manual system and still some of the standard universities follow automated systems for students’ accommodation. The special features of this system are allowing users to generate reports of visitors, view notification lists, generate instant messaging to the visitors, and easy print methods. In future, this system will help the management to provide easy accommodation.
