Children’s Diabetes Management Using the Internet of Things and Robot Assistants

Abstract


A novel eHealth platform that incorporates humanoid robots as a support for diabetes treatment. The platform's design extends the Internet of Things (IOT) to the physical layer. This is accomplished by using a tiered strategy based on object virtualization and autonomous service delivery to unify the access interface and method for managing service requests.
