Smart Attendance System with QR Code & Location Tracking
Abstract
In this paper, we present a Smart Attendance System that uses QR codes along with GPS location tracking to make attendance more reliable and practical. The main aim of our system is to reduce proxy attendance and make the process faster and easier. We have used technologies like React for frontend, Spring Boot for backend, and MySQL for database. During testing, we observed that combining QR code scanning with location verification gives better accuracy compared to traditional methods.
