A Deep Learning-Based Intelligent Waste Management System for Trash Classification

P. Nagaraj, Y. Ashwini, B. Madhuri

Abstract

The antiquated garbage system now provides improved time monitoring and facilitates better waste management because of the advancements in artificial intelligence (AI). The goal of this article is to use a deep learning model based on Tensor Flow to create an intelligent sterile management system. It can identify and classify objects in real time. Paper, plastic, and metal debris are kept apart from other types of garbage in the bin's multiple sections. A trained object recognition model and the Tensor Flow framework are used for object detection and garbage classification. This trash detection model is trained on garbage photos to provide a frozen inference network that can be used to identify objects using a camera.
