Akash Pednekar, Manish Bhelande

Abstract

Home automation is becoming increasingly common as a result of its various benefits. The current state of affairs indicates that the home automation system is regulated by emails, messages, or other applications. That being said, in recent years, the scientific community and industry have made substantial investments in the area of Internet of Things (IoT). With the launch of devices such as Amazon Echo, Google Home, and Samsung Smart Stuff, among others, the Smart Home space has become a major focus. The development of an industry leads to the development of creative, cost-effective, and advanced solutions. In this paper, we look at how to make non-smart homes smart and how to create a reliable, cost-effective system that can be used by a large number of people. Our device is powered by Amazon Echo, Amazon cloud services, and Amazon speech services. The Nodemcu ESP8266 hardware component is used to add advanced features to non-smart houses. We will explain the various components of our product and demonstrate how well our system switches on and off our appliances. Any appliances or equipment in the home will be controlled using voice commands. In comparison to normal homes, this will allow for improved communication in automated homes.
