Abstract

The rapid strides of development and subsequent advancement in technology have changed the world in ways one could have never imagined. The CCTV and burglar alarm technologies can’t be completely called obsolete, but the changing times have brought about a massive revolution in technology. This paper deals with the implementation and literature review of a Security Sensor Alert System prototype. It’s key feature includes the usage of PIR sensor, the evaluation results of which show that it can sense any movement within a range of up to 5 meters and alert multiple owners within a time lag of 2 seconds through the means of a text message.
