Analysis of Scientific Research Productivity of Amrita University Bengaluru: A Scientometrics Study of Eminence University

Abstract


In this present study researchers have put an effort to find out and highlight the research productivity and scholarly communication of faculty members and research scholars of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Bengaluru campus during 2006–2020 by amassing data from Scopus databases. Data has been analyzed by employing VOS Viewer to visualize the Amrita University Research output growth and trends. Underlying results indicated that mainstream of authors. This scientometric study includes only the research articles that produced by faculty members and research scholars with Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Bengaluru campus name in their affiliation. Here, researchers of this present study are trying to understand the author-ship pattern, types of cited resources, length of contributions etc. The study revealed that findings such as majority of the research subject areas, No. of citations, ratio of the articles published in Conferences vs Journals, International collaboration, nature of interdisciplinary research output, increased trend of co-authored articles, authors who received highest publications and citations, popular journals and Conferences where most articles published, growth trend regarding the subject etc.
