Abstract

This research paper examines the potential use of blockchain technology in e-commerce to enhance security, trans- parency, and efficiency of transactions. By analyzing previous studies, the benefits and obstacles of utilizing blockchain in e- commerce are explored. The study reveals that blockchain has the capability to eliminate intermediaries, minimize fraudulent activ- ities, enhance supply chain management, and increase customer confidence. Nevertheless, there are challenges such as scalability, regulatory compliance, and adoption hurdles that need to be overcome. The conclusions drawn from this research propose that further exploration and practical implementation of blockchain are required to realize its full potential in transforming e- commerce.
