IoT-based smart locking system

Abstract


This study makes use of the IOT (Internet of Things) idea. Since security has always been a top priority in homes and workplaces, many different approaches have been tried, yet there are gaps that could be exploited to grant unauthorized access. This project, Smart Locking System Using IOT, offers a dependable, useful, and practical remedy. The system uses a fingerprint sensor, an Arduino UNO microcontroller, and a password to identify the user. This system verifies a user's fingerprint in addition to their password, creating a system that only allows authorized people access. A servo motor is used to unlock the door if authorisation is successful.
