Design and Construction of Contactless IoT Doorbell and Security System

Abstract


Security of lives and properties remains a trending issue of optimal concern in recent times. It is one of the major issues posing challenges to governments, establishments and individuals. Common security techniques such as the use of keys, passwords and cards are used in home environments and hotels for traditional authentication. In industries/secures areas many times gate open close processes goes on, therefore it is essential to monitor all the processes and control the factors affecting them. The aforementioned goal can be successfully attained by utilizing technology such as the internet of things (IoT), making record and control more evident than manual usage. The device consists of ESP32 WI-FI module microcontroller, PIR motion sensor, switch which are all covered by with an enclosure box.
