IOT Powered Automatic Movable Road Dividers For Adaptive Traffic Management

Abstract


This project focuses on reducing daily traffic conges- tion by evaluating the effectiveness of Road Divider functionality. Traditional Road Dividers are designed with fixed-width lanes for both incoming and ongoing traffic, but as the number of vehicles on the road continues to grow, this approach has become insufficient. Our solution offers a dynamic Road Divider system that can adjust to changing traffic demands, maximizing the use of existing lanes. With this innovative solution, we aim to enhance traffic efficiency, decrease congestion, and foster a more sustain- able urban transportation landscape. By providing flexibility in lane allocation, this project addresses current challenges in traffic management, ultimately providing a practical solution for better traffic flow.
