Biometric Authentication Based Security System
Abstract
Spurred on by the multiplying rate of computing power at regular intervals, face detection and recognition have evolved from being technological gimmicks, and are revolutionizing device, and data security. Face recognition is an inherent human capability, ingrained in our perception system. The challenge presented to researchers was to quantify the methods by which we, as people, identify our peers and subsequently arrive at a computational model allowing the same to be performed artificially.
