Hotspot: A Geolocation-Based Anonymous Chat Application

Abstract


Hotspot is a geolocation-based anonymous chat application designed to facilitate real-time communication among users within a specific geographic area. By leveraging GPS technology, the app automatically groups users based on their current location, enabling them to chat anonymously with nearby individuals. This makes it particularly effective in environments with large crowds, such as college campuses, public events, or gatherings, where quick and localized information sharing is essential. For instance, a college campus can be divided into multiple geolocation zones, allowing students in different areas to communicate within their respective groups.
